Map Disposal Points

Help us map where waste can go.

People cannot dispose properly if they do not know where the proper disposal points are, or if there are none nearby.

We are building a simple area-by-area record of proper bins, public skips, public collection points, approved disposal sites, institutional bins, and places where disposal options are missing.

This will help us see what exists, what is missing, and what communities may need.

WHY MAPPING MATTERS

Clean-up action is only complete when waste goes to the right place.

Mapping helps us understand where proper disposal options exist, where they are unreliable, and where people have no clear place to put waste.

Over time, this information can support practical requests for bins, collection support, disposal partnerships, waste-company collaboration, sponsor-backed clean-up kits, and local policy conversations.

WHAT COUNTS AS A DISPOSAL POINT

  • A public bin
  • A public skip
  • A municipal collection point
  • An approved disposal site
  • A market disposal area
  • A school, church, or institutional bin
  • A waste company collection point
  • Any safe and accepted place where waste is collected properly

WHAT COUNTS AS A DISPOSAL GAP

A disposal gap is a place where people regularly generate or collect waste but have no clear, safe, or reliable place to put it.

Report the area. Do not create an unsafe pile.
